Ultimately, Astrojazz is all about the music, all
about the beats. As Astroboy, I get behind the decks
to spin records that originate from around the
globe. Whether its dancefloor jazz, roots-conscious
hip-hop, soul, afrobeat, Brazilian groove, funk,
broken beat, Latin, 60's, drum'n'bass, breakbeat,
dubwise....it don't matter: if its good it goes in
the bag.
I
currently hold a number of residencies in bars and
clubs around Edinburgh, playing anything that goes.
